The Problem

3 Legs faced an urgent challenge when their existing provider announced the closure of its Isle of Man datacentre. With limited time to act they needed to secure a new hosting environment quickly without disrupting business operations.

They wanted to retain the benefits of colocation while avoiding significant capital expenditure and ideally keep their infrastructure local. At the same time, they needed a solution that could scale as their requirements evolved and support their preference for stable Linux based systems.

What We Did

Domicilium worked closely with 3 Legs to design and deliver a hosting solution that combined speed flexibility and local control.

We deployed a Proxmox based virtual environment allowing them to establish a fully operational platform quickly while retaining the ability to scale resources on demand. This created a modern mini virtual datacentre without the need for upfront investment in physical hardware.

Our team handled the full installation including firewall configuration and secure access to IP ranges enabling 3 Legs to migrate their data at a pace that suited their business.

As the partnership evolved, we upgraded them to a Private Managed Cloud at no additional cost giving them greater control and the ability to provision virtual machines and manage dedicated resources within a fully local environment.
